(b) detecting, by the at least one processor, via a card reader, a card dealt from an available inventory of cards to said player during the game hand;
(c) updating, by the at least one processor, state of deck data stored in a database of a memory and indicating the available inventory of cards, to reflect a decrease to the available inventory of cards of a card same as each given card detected as dealt in the game hand and dealt in previous game hands, if any;
(d) when said game hand for said player is completed according to said base game, resolving, by the at least one processor, said wager based at least in part on whether said game hand forms a winning hand;
(e) updating, by the at least one processor, the state of deck data in the database to reflect a decrease to the available inventory of cards of a card same as each given card detected as dealt, if any, in a subsequent game hand; and
(f) displaying, by the at least one processor, on a display device, based on the state of deck data, at least one of;

Abstract
Embodiments related to conducting a wagering game according to the rules of a base game includes defining a finite set of game indicia. In some embodiments the player plays multiple sequential game hand by placing a wager, receiving game indicia from the finite set cumulatively excluding any game indicia previously dealt, playing the game hand to completion, collecting the game indicia from the player and excluding the dealt game indicia from further play, and displaying at least the excluded game indicia or any winning combinations precluded by the excluded game indicia. In some embodiments the game hands continue in sequence until a restoration event, which may include a manually triggered restoration or an automatic restoration event that restores the excluded game indicia. Other embodiments are also described.

4. An apparatus comprising:
-
at least one processor and a memory including instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, control; for each of a plurality of first rounds of a game; (a) detecting, via a card reader, a respective plurality of game cards dealt from a set of game cards to make up a respective outcome, in which the set of game cards includes a plurality of subsets that each include a respective at least two game cards, and (b) updating state of deck data stored in a database of a memory and indicating an available inventory of cards of the set of game cards, to reflect the plurality of game cards detected as dealt as being removed from the available inventory of cards of the set of game cards for play in subsequent rounds of the plurality of first rounds; for a plurality of second rounds of the game, detecting, via the card reader, a respective second plurality of game cards dealt from the set of game cards using the available inventory of cards and updating the state of deck data to reflect the second plurality of game cards detected as dealt as being removed from the available inventory of cards, until an automatic restoration event, in which the automatic restoration event includes all game cards of the set of game cards having each of a plurality of particular numerical values being eliminated and the automatic restoration event causes the set of game cards to be restored; and prior to play of at least some of the first rounds, displaying, on a display device, based on the state of deck data, a number of game cards remaining in each subset of the plurality of subsets after the state of deck data has been updated to reflect game cards detected as being dealt have been removed from the available inventory of cards of the set of game cards. - View Dependent Claims (5)
