Abstract

A method and an electronic device are disclosed. The method includes obtaining an image, obtaining information of the image, obtaining content information of content included in the image, obtaining related information which relates to the image based on at least one of the information of the image and the content information, and classifying the image into at least one category based on a plurality of defined information/data elements and a relation among the information/data elements and metadata of the image.

Claims

1. A method of an electronic device, the method comprising:

based at least on a user touch input received through a touch screen of the electronic device, obtaining an image from a camera of the electronic device, wherein the image includes at least one object;

obtaining, by the electronic device, information of the image obtained from the camera of the electronic device;

based on the obtaining of the image from the camera, analyzing, by the electronic device, at least a portion of an object included in the image;

classifying, by the electronic device, the image into at least one category based at least on the analyzing of the at least a portion of the object included in the image;

receiving a search text which is input, through the touch screen of the electronic device, by a user of the electronic device;

displaying, on the touch screen of the electronic device, a plurality of recommended search texts including one or more recommended search text being based on at least one of the obtained information of the image or the analyzing of the at least a portion of the object included in the image, wherein recommended search text from the plurality of recommended search texts is associated with the received search text and includes text associated with a time when the image is obtained or text associated with the object, and wherein another recommended search text from the plurality of recommended search texts corresponds to the at least one category;

receiving a user selection for one of the plurality of recommended search texts displayed on the touch screen of the electronic device; and

displaying the image on the touch screen of the electronic device based at least on the one of the plurality of recommended search texts.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the obtained information of the image comprises at least one of time information or location information.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the object comprises at least one of a recognized person, a recognized thing, or a text in the image.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one category comprises at least one of a figure category, a location category, or a time category.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the classifying of the image into the at least one category comprises classifying the image into a figure category based at least on a recognized person in the image.

6. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

displaying a number of images, included in a category from the at least one category, together with the category.

7. An electronic device comprising:

a touch screen;

at least one processor; and

a memory configured to store instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising;

based at least on a user touch input received through the touch screen of the electronic device, obtaining an image from a camera of the electronic device,

wherein the image includes at least one object,

obtaining information of the image obtained from the camera of the electronic device,

based on the obtaining of the image from the camera, analyzing at least a portion of an object included in the image,

classifying the image into at least one category based at least on the analyzing of the at least a portion of the object included in the image,

receiving a search text which is input, through the touch screen of the electronic device, by a user of the electronic device,

displaying, on the touch screen of the electronic device, a plurality of recommended search texts including on or more recommended search text being based on at least one of the obtained information of the image or the analyzing of the at least a portion of the object included in the image, wherein a recommended search text from the plurality of recommended search texts is associated with the received search text and includes text associated with a time when the image is obtained or text associated with the object, and wherein another recommended search text from the plurality of recommended search texts corresponds the at least one category,

receiving a user selection for one of the plurality of recommended search texts displayed on the touch screen of the electronic device, and

displaying the image on the touch screen of the electronic device based at least on the one of the plurality of recommended search texts.

8. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the obtained information of the image comprises at least one of time information or location information.

9. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the object comprises at least one of a recognized person, a recognized thing, or a text in the image.

10. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the at least one category comprises at least one of a figure category, a location category, or a time category.

11. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the classifying of the image into the at least one category comprises classifying the image into a figure category based at least on a recognized person in the image.

12. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the operations further comprise displaying a number of images, included in a category from the at least one category, together with the category.

13. A non-transitory storage medium having stored therein instructions which cause, when executed by at least one processor of an electronic device, the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

based at least on a user touch input received through a touch screen of the electronic device, obtaining an image from a camera of the electronic device, wherein the image includes at least one object,

obtaining, by the electronic device, information of the image obtained from the camera of the electronic device,

based on the obtaining of the image from the camera, analyzing, by the electronic device, at least a portion of an object included in the image,

classifying , by the electronic device, the image into at least one category based at least on the analyzing of the at least a portion of the object included in the image,

receiving a search text which is input, through the touch screen of the electronic device, by a user of the electronic device,

displaying, on the touch screen of the electronic device, a plurality of recommended search texts including one or more recommended search text being based on at least one of the obtained information of the image or the analyzing of the at least a portion of the object included in the image, wherein a recommended search text from the plurality of recommended search texts is associated with the received search text and includes text associated with a time when the image is obtained or text associated with the object, and wherein another recommended search text from the plurality of recommended search texts corresponds to the at least one category,

receiving a user selection for one of the plurality of recommended search texts displayed on the touch screen of the electronic device, and

displaying the image on the touch screen of the electronic device based at least on the one of the plurality of recommended search texts.

14. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 13, wherein the obtained information of the image comprises at least one of time information or location information.

15. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 13, wherein the object comprises at least one of a recognized person, a recognized thing, or a text in the image.

16. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 13, wherein the at least one category comprises at least one of a figure category, a location category, or a time category.

17. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 13, wherein the classifying of the image into the at least one category comprises classifying the image into a figure category based at least on a recognized person in the image.

18. The non-transitory storage medium of claim 13, wherein the operations further comprise displaying a number of images, included in a category from the at least one category, together with the category.
