1. A method comprising:
- receiving, by a wireless device and from a base station, at least one message comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells comprising;
a primary cell comprising a primary control channel transmitted to the base station; and
a secondary cell comprising a secondary control channel transmitted to the base station;
based on a media access control (MAC) entity, of the wireless device, having more than one overlapping valid control channel resource for a scheduling request, selecting, by the MAC entity, one of the primary control channel or the secondary control channel as a selected valid control channel resource for transmission of the scheduling request to the base station;
instructing, by the MAC entity, a physical layer to transmit the scheduling request via the selected valid control channel resource; and
transmitting, by the physical layer and to the base station via the selected valid control channel resource, the scheduling request.
