1. A method of controlling a Sorghum species plant comprising:

  • treating a Sorghum species plant or a part thereof in need of control with a first herbicidal composition comprising a double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) polynucleotide, an organosilicone surfactant in a concentration of about 0.2 percent or greater by weight, and an effective dose of a nonpolynucleotide herbicide, wherein said dsRNA polynucleotide is identical or complementary to at least 21 contiguous nucleotides of a Sorghum species gene polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs;

    26, 27, 30-36, 38-41, 43, 46-57, 59-66, 76, 79, 82, 84, 86, 87, 90, 93-120, 122-129, 131-133, 136, and 140-153, wherein said Sorghum species plant is more sensitive to said nonpolynucleotide herbicide, relative to a similar plant treated with a second herbicidal composition not containing said dsRNA polynucleotide.
