1. A method of a indicating an orientation of a smart device, the method comprising the steps of:
- a) fixedly securing a first antenna array at a first position relative to the smart device;
b) locating the first antenna array within transmission range of a first transceiver;
c) with the first antenna array, receiving a first wireless communication from the first transceiver;
d) generating an angle of arrival of the first wireless communication with the first antenna array;
e) generating a time of arrival of the first wireless communication with the first antenna array;
f) receiving a second wireless communication with the first antenna array from a second transceiver;
g) generating an angle of arrival of the second wireless communication with the first antenna array;
h) generating a time of arrival of the second wireless communication with the first antenna array;
i) generating a virtual line intersecting a space occupied by the smart device based upon the angle of arrival of the first wireless communication and the time of arrival of the first wireless communication and the angle of arrival of the second wireless communication and the time of arrival of the second wireless communication; and
j) generating a direction of orientation of the smart device based upon a direction of the virtual line.
