1. An optical transmitting system for distance measuring, comprising:

  • a modulation signal generator configured to generate a modulation signal;

    a light source configured to generate an optical waveform with amplitude modulation corresponding with the modulation signal; and

    an illumination driver coupled to the modulation signal generator and the light source, the illumination driver configured to drive the light source, the illumination driver including;

    a switch configured to switch between an on state and an off state to drive the light source; and

    a switch driver configured to drive the switch between the on and off states, the switch driver including a first inductor and a capacitor in series with the first inductor and the switch;

    wherein;

    a first end of the first inductor is connected to a first end of a second inductor and a second end of the first inductor is connected to the capacitor;

    a second end of the second inductor is connected to a source of the switch; and

    the capacitor is connected to a gate of the switch;

    wherein the first inductor and second inductors and the capacitor are configured to generate a resonant frequency.
