1. A method for receiving a signal by a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:

  • obtaining a coverage enhancement (CE) mode of the UE,wherein the CE mode is obtained as CE mode A based on that a physical random access channel (PRACH) CE level for the UE is a first CE level,wherein the CE mode is obtained as CE mode B based on that the PRACH CE level is a second CE level higher than the first CE level, andwherein based on that information on indicating the CE mode is received through a radio resource control signal, the CE mode is obtained as identical to the CE mode indicated by the information regardless of the PRACH CE level;

    decoding downlink (DL) grant downlink control information (DCI); and

    receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) based on the DL grant DCI,wherein based on that;

    the CE mode is CE mode A,the DL grant DCI is decoded based on a first DCI format, andthe CE mode is CE mode B,the DL grant DCI is decoded based on a second DCI format, andwherein the first DCI format and the second DCI format are different in at least a physical resource block (PRB) assignment field for DL reception, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process number field, a transmit power control (TPC) command field for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), or a redundancy version (RV) field.
