Automatic system access using facial recognition
First Claim
1. A method for security and/or automation systems, comprising:
- detecting, by a processor of a security and/or automation system, a person relative to a premises;
determining, by the processor of the security and/or automation system, a count associated with the person based at least in part on a number of times the person is detected;
determining, by the processor of the security and/or automation system, that the person is a frequent occupant based at least in part on determining the count;
retrieving, by the processor of the security and/or automation system, a predefined profile of user preferences associated with the determined frequent occupant; and
initiating, by the processor of the security and/or automation system, a change of state of a device associated with Flail the security and/or automation system based at least in part on the predefined profile of user preferences associated with the determined frequent occupant.

Abstract
Methods and systems are described for automatic system access using facial recognition. According to at least one embodiment, an apparatus for automatic system access using facial recognition includes a processor, a memory in electronic communication with the processor, and instructions stored in the memory which are executable by a processor to identify faces of a plurality of persons relative to a premises, and determine, based at least in part on the identifying, a first person from the plurality of persons satisfies a frequent occupant threshold. The instructions are executable recognize the first person at the premises after determining the first person from the plurality of persons satisfies the frequent occupant threshold and initiate a change of state of a security and/or automation system based at least in part on the recognizing.
