1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
- receiving, in a portal, an input from a device of a user, the input associating an unredeemed offer provided to the user with a payment account of the user, wherein a data warehouse coupled with the portal stores data associated with a plurality of different mechanisms to deliver benefits of offers in response to payment transactions made using payment accounts, wherein the input is received prior to a payment transaction made in the payment account of the user for a purchase, wherein at least one of the plurality of different mechanisms comprises at least one of a statement credit, a promotional code, a coupon code, a barcode, adjusting a transaction amount during authorization, adjusting the transaction amount at a transaction terminal, or generating a second transaction with a sponsor processor of the benefit;
in response to the input;
identifying, by the portal, an issuer processor associated with an issuer bank of the payment account associated with the unredeemed offer;
selecting, by the portal based at least in part on an identity of the issuer bank associated with the issuer processor, a mechanism from the plurality of mechanisms to deliver a benefit of the unredeemed offer;
storing, by the portal, redemption requirement data associated with an entire set of redemption requirements of the unredeemed offer; and
generating, by the portal, a trigger record associated with a subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the redemption requirement data and an action;
detecting, by a transaction handler coupled with the portal and separate from the issuer processor, the payment transaction made in the payment account of the user for the purchase satisfies the subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the trigger record, wherein detecting by the transaction handler that the payment transaction satisfies the subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the trigger record reduces a burden on the transaction handler compared to using the entire set of redemption requirements;
in response to detecting the payment transaction satisfies the subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the trigger record, detecting, by the portal based on the action associated with the trigger record, the payment transaction made in the payment account of the user for the purchase satisfies the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the redemption requirement data and qualifies for the benefit of the unredeemed offer; and
in response to detecting the payment transaction qualifies for the benefit of the unredeemed offer, providing, by the transaction handler, the benefit to the user using the mechanism that is selected based at least in part on the identity of the issuer processor.

13. A computing system, comprising:
-
a data warehouse configured to store data associated with a plurality of different mechanisms to deliver benefits of offers in response to payment transactions made using payment accounts, wherein at least one of the plurality of different mechanisms comprises at least one of a statement credit, a promotional code, a coupon code, a barcode, adjusting a transaction amount during authorization, adjusting the transaction amount at a transaction terminal, or generating a second transaction with a sponsor processor of the benefit; a portal coupled to the data warehouse and configured to; receive an input from a device of a user, the input associating an unredeemed offer provided to the user with a payment account of the user, wherein the input is received prior to a payment transaction made in the payment account of the user for a purchase, and in response to the input; identify an issuer processor associated with an issuer bank of the payment account associated with the unredeemed offer, select, based at least in part on an identity of the issuer bank associated with the issuer processor, a mechanism from the plurality of mechanisms to deliver a benefit of the unredeemed offer, store redemption requirement data associated with an entire set of redemption requirements of the unredeemed offer, and generate a trigger record associated with a subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the redemption requirement data and an action; and a transaction handler coupled to the portal, separate from the issuer processor, and configured to; detect the payment transaction made in the payment account of the user for the purchase satisfies the subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the trigger record, wherein detecting by the transaction handler that the payment transaction satisfies the subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the trigger record reduces a burden on the transaction handler compared to using the entire set of redemption requirements; wherein, in response to detecting the payment transaction satisfies the subset of the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the trigger record, the portal is configured to detect, based on the action associated with the trigger record, the payment transaction made in the payment account of the user for the purchase satisfies the entire set of redemption requirements associated with the redemption requirement data and qualifies for the benefit of the unredeemed offer; and wherein, in response to detecting the payment transaction qualifies for the benefit of the unredeemed offer, the transaction handler is configured to provide the benefit to the user using the mechanism that is selected based at least in part on the identity of the issuer. - View Dependent Claims (14)
