1. A computer-implemented method for implementing free shipping promotions ranking, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a processor, promotion data describing a set of promotions, wherein the promotion data include promotion attributes and metadata associated with the promotions, and wherein the set of promotions includes a particular promotion currently being purchased by a first consumer;
generating, by the processor, a ranked set of promotions based on (i) the promotion data, (ii) historical co-purchases associated with the particular promotion over a period of time, wherein each of the historical co-purchases represents a purchase, by another consumer of a plurality of consumers, of both the particular promotion from a first service and a second promotion from a second service within the period of time, and wherein each promotion of the ranked set of promotions is associated with promotion attributes that differ from promotion attributes associated with the particular promotion, (iii) a co-view score, and (iv) cross-sell signals received from at least one of a group of cross-sell widgets, wherein the ranked set of promotions comprises at least one collaborative filtering ranked list and at least one static similarity ranked list;
generating, by the processor, a set of recommended promotions for the first consumer by selecting a subset of the ranked set of promotions;
optimizing, by the processor, the set of recommended promotions for the first consumer based on real-time inputs and a free shipping qualifier threshold amount, the set of recommended promotions optimized to enable the first consumer'"'"'s purchase cart total to reach an amount that either meets or exceeds the free shipping qualifier threshold amount; and
transmitting, by the processor, to the first consumer the set of recommended promotions as optimized for display within a user interface.
