1. An electronic device at user equipment side in a wireless communication system, comprisingcircuitry, configured todetermine a link quality between the user equipment and a network side apparatus;
- under a condition that the link quality is better than a threshold, decide to communicate with the network side apparatus directly, under a condition that the link quality is worse than a threshold, decide to communicate, via device-to-device communication, with another user equipment within proximity that acts as a central node and forwards data packet of the user equipment to the network side apparatus;
if device-to-device communication is decided, transmit a discovery signal for device-to-device discovery and monitor a discovery response signal from the other user equipment; and
transmit a data packet to the other user equipment based on the response signal so that the data packet is subsequently forwarded to the network side apparatus by the other user equipment, whereinthe discovery signal comprises an indication of characteristics of the data packet to be transmitted for the other user equipment determining transmission resources for the electronic device, andthe indication of characteristics of the data packet comprise a transmission reliability requirement of the data packet.

Abstract
The present disclosure provides an electronic apparatus, a central node apparatus and a network side apparatus, a transmission method and a configuration method. The electronic apparatus for user equipment UE side includes: a transmission mode determining device configured for determining, based on service type of uplink transmission data that is to be transmitted to a network side apparatus by the electronic apparatus for UE side, whether to adopt a transmission mode in which the uplink transmission data is transmitted to a central node apparatus such that the uplink transmission data is transmitted to the network side apparatus. The electronic apparatus, the central node apparatus and the network side apparatus, the transmission method and the configuration method according to the present disclosure can implement at least one of saving network resources, reducing signaling overhead, and reducing power loss.

circuitry, configured to configure the user equipment as a central node for forwarding a data packet from another user equipment within proximity to a network side apparatus based on a signaling from the network side apparatus; -
receive a discovery signal for device-to-device discovery from the other user equipment; transmit a discovery response signal to the other user equipment; receive a data packet from the other user equipment via device-to-device communication; and forward the data packet from the other user equipment to the network side apparatus, wherein the other user equipment determines a link quality between the other user equipment and a network side apparatus, under a condition that the link quality is better than a threshold, decides to communicate with the network side apparatus directly, under a condition that the link quality is worse than a threshold, decides to communicate, via device-to-device communication, with the user equipment that acts as the central node and forwards the data packet of the other user equipment to the network side apparatus and transmit the discovery signal, and the discovery signal comprises an indication of characteristics of the data packet, the circuitry is further configured to determine transmission resources for the other user equipment based on the characteristics, and indicate the transmission resources in the discovery response signal, and the indication of characteristics of the data packet comprise a transmission reliability requirement of the data packet. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12, 13)
