a brim portion extending from a lower forward portion of the head reception portion, the brim portion includinga light source disposed between the lower forward portion of the head reception portion and a front edge of the brim portion,a recess having a proximal end rearwardly of the brim portion front edge with the light source mounted at or adjacent to the proximal end and a distal end forwardly of the proximal end with an opening formed at the distal end to allow light to be projected therethrough,reflector surfaces extending from the light source and toward the opening to allow light not directly projected through the opening to be reflected out of the opening.

9. Lighted headgear comprising:

a head reception portion configured to be received on a wearer'"'"'s head; and a brim portion extending from a lower forward portion of the head reception portion, the brim portion including a light source that defines a cone of illumination having a central axis, an upper reflective surface extending generally forwardly from the light source and disposed at least partially above the light source, the upper reflective surface diverging from the central axis, and a lower reflective surface extending generally forwardly from the light source and disposed at least partially below the light source, the lower reflective surface diverging from the central axis in a direction away from the upper reflective surface, wherein the upper reflective surface and the lower reflective surface extend generally toward a front edge of the brim portion to project a maximum amount of light from the light source generally forwardly of the lighted headgear. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11, 12)

a head reception portion configured to be received on a wearer'"'"'s head; a brim portion extending from a lower forward portion of the head reception portion and having a lower surface; and a light module secured to the brim portion at the lower surface, the light module including a housing having an inclined wall that extends obliquely away from the lower surface, and a forward wall that extends between the lower surface and the inclined wall, a light source at least partially disposed within the housing and oriented to direct light beyond the forward wall, and a push-button actuator disposed at the inclined wall and adapted to selectively energize the light source. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17)
