a first input portion configured to receive a first input for controlling the power applied to the device; and
a recess adapted to receive a module, wherein the module comprises a second input portion configured to receive a second input for controlling power applied to the device;
wherein power is applied to the device by way of the second contact element in response to at least one of the first input and the second input; and
wherein the power adapter is adapted to receive one of a plurality of different modules, each module of the plurality of different modules providing a different user interface.
