Abstract
This invention proposes a computer-implemented system for managing a collection of Web documents with dependency relationships defined among designated elements of those Web documents. The proposed system automatically and consistently propagates updates introduced in such elements to all elements that directly or indirectly depend on those updated elements. The user interface of the proposed system is realized as a collection of port complexes networked over the Web, so that a collection of human or computer-based tasks distributed geographically and/or organizationally can be coordinated effectively through dissemination of right information at right time in the Web environment.
