Abstract

There is provided a communication terminal, capable of displaying the image data of an arbitrary location, or those of arbitrary multiple locations in collective manner, on the display device, in the multi-location communication, and also capable of displaying the state of connection of the communication terminals. Also provided is a communication terminal capable of preventing the confusion in communication, resulting from an erroneous line disconnection in the multi-location communication.

Claims

1. A communication terminal apparatus for communication among multiple locations with display of image data on display means, comprising:

input means for entering information for designating image data of an arbitrary location, among the image data of said multiple locations; and

control means for effecting control so as to display, on said display means, the image data of a location corresponding to the information entered by said input means.

2. A communication terminal apparatus according to

, wherein said input means is a keyboard.

, wherein said input means is a touch panel.

4. A communication terminal apparatus according to

, wherein said input means is a mouse.

7. A communication terminal apparatus comprising:

connection discriminating means for discriminating the relationship of connection of communication terminals; and

display means for effecting display based on said relationship of connection.

9. A communication terminal apparatus according to

, wherein said relationship of connection is graphically displayed by said display means.

10. A communication terminal apparatus according to

claim 7

, wherein said relationship of connection is that of bus-shaped connection.

11. A communication terminal apparatus according to

, wherein said relationship of connection is that of ring-shaped connection.

8. A communication terminal apparatus adapted to be connected to other plural communication terminal apparatus through plural channels, comprising:

discrimination means for discriminating the positional relationship of other communication terminal apparatus in connection; and

display means for displaying said relationship of connection, based on the result of discrimination by said discrimination means.

12. A communication terminal apparatus comprising:

signal input means for entering a withdrawal instruction signal for instructing withdrawal from the multi-location communication, and a line disconnection signal;

control means for instructing line disconnection in response to the line disconnection signal and the withdrawal instruction signal from said signal input means; and

line disconnecting means for effecting line disconnection in response to the instruction from said control means.

13. A communication terminal apparatus according to

, further comprising an input key for entering said withdrawal instruction signal.

14. A communication terminal apparatus according to

claim 12

, wherein said line disconnection signal is generated by an on-hook operation of a handset.

15. A communication terminal apparatus according to

, wherein said withdrawal instruction signal is multiplexed by said control means with information of communication, and is transmitted to other communication terminal apparatus.

16. A communication terminal apparatus according to

claim 12

, further comprising display means, wherein a withdrawal instruction signal received from another communication terminal apparatus is displayed, in identifiable manner, on said display means.

17. A communication terminal apparatus according to

claim 15

, wherein said withdrawal instruction signal is transmitted to other communication terminal apparatus prior to the entry of said line disconnection signal.

18. A communication terminal apparatus according to

claim 16

, wherein said withdrawal instruction signal is displayed in such a manner as to enable identification of the communication terminal apparatus generating said withdrawal instruction signal.
