1. A color organ system, comprising:
- at least one audio signal input having waveform characteristics, a microprocessor-based controller receiving the audio signal input and generating a graphical output having a color attribute in response to a waveform characteristic of the audio signal, and an electronic display coupled to the controller for displaying the graphical output.

Abstract
A color organ is realized through software programming. Audio signals are input to a microprocessor-based controller. The controller then correlates an object to each audio signal on the basis of selected waveform characteristics. The object is then rendered for display on an electronic display. The display may be autostereoscopic, or it may be viewed through a stereoscopic selection device.
