A displacement control mechanism used for a variable displacement type compressor, the displacement of which varies in accordance with the pressure of a crank chamber, wherein the control mechanism is installed in a refrigerant circuit, wherein the refrigerant circuit includes a suction pressure zone and a discharge pressure zone, and the compressor has a bleed passage, which connects the crank chamber to the suction pressure zone, and a supply passage, which connects the crank chamber to the discharge pressure zone, wherein one of the bleed passage and the supply passage is a control passage and the other is a regulating passage, the displacement control mechanism comprising:
- a first control valve, the first control valve comprising;
a first valve body for adjusting the opening size of the control passage;
a pressure sensitive member that moves in accordance with a pressure in the refrigerant circuit such that the displacement is varied to counter changes of the pressure in the refrigerant circuit;
a pressure detection region located in the control passage, wherein the pressure detection region is located downstream of the first valve body;
a second control valve, wherein the second control valve includes a second valve body for adjusting the opening size of the regulating passage, wherein the second valve body moves in accordance with the pressure of the pressure detection region, wherein, when the pressure of the pressure detection region increases, the second control valve decreases the opening size of the regulating passage.

Abstract
A displacement control mechanism used for compressor is installed in a refrigerant circuit. The compressor has a bleed passage and a supply passage. The displacement control mechanism includes a first control valve and a second control valve. The first control valve includes a first valve body and a pressure sensitive member. The first valve body adjusts the opening size of the supply passage. The pressure sensitive member moves in accordance with a pressure in the refrigerant circuit. A pressure detection region is located downstream of the first valve body. The second control valve includes a second valve body. The second valve body adjusts the opening size of the bleed passage. The second valve body moves in accordance with the pressure of the pressure detection region. When the pressure of the pressure detection region increases, the second control valve decreases the opening size of the bleed passage. This permits to start with rapid cooling performance.
