1. A flat panel display device comprising:
- a display panel having a plurality of display picture elements;
a first wiring board one end of which is electrically connected to said display panel and provided with a first terminal group at the other end thereof;
a second wiring board for outputting a control signal to said display panel, having a second terminal group corresponding to said first terminal group at a main surface thereof, and said second terminal group being electrically connected to said first terminal group through an anisotropic conductive film, wherein said second wiring board includes position indicating marks for indicating a disposition position of said anisotropic conductive film.

Abstract
An object of this invention is to provide a manufacturing method of a flat panel display device, in which, to match the position of a lead 30 of a TCP 12 with that of a land 32 of a PCB 14, light is irradiated from a lighting device 22 located substantially just above an axis line of a lead 30 and a shadow is photographed by a camera 20 so as to match the position thereof As a result, this makes it possible to match the positions of the TCP having leads having a fine pitch with those of the lands of the PCB.

a display panel having a plurality of display picture elements;
a first wiring board one end of which is electrically connected to said display panel and provided with a first terminal group at the other end thereof;

5. A manufacturing method of a flat panel display device having:
- a display panel including a plurality of display picture elements;
a flexible electrode substrate having a plurality of leads to be connected electrically to the display panel; and
a wiring board having a plurality of lands corresponding to said leads of said flexible electrode substrates and for supplying a control signal to said display panel, comprising the steps of;
disposing said leads of said flexible electrode substrate on said lands of said wiring board;
irradiating a light of which axis is inclined at an angle smaller than 90°
relative to an axis line of said lead; and
detecting relative positions of said leads and said lands and matching positions thereof. - View Dependent Claims (6, 7, 8)

a display panel, a flexible substrate having leads and a connecting region at an end of each leads, and connected to said display panel, a wiring board having lands corresponding to said leads, said lands disposed on a top surface thereof, and an anisotropic conductive film disposed between said leads and lands so as to electrically connect them;
wherein said lands are longer than the connecting region of the leads.

a display panel, a flexible substrate having leads and a connecting region at an end of each leads, and connected to said display panel, a wiring board having lands corresponding to said leads, said lands disposed on a top surface thereof, and an anisotropic conductive film disposed between said leads and lands so as to electrically connect them;
wherein said lands are longer than a width of said anisotropic conductive film.

11. A manufacturing method of a flat panel display device having:
- a display panel;
a flexible electrode substrate having a plurality of leads to be electrically connected to the display panel; and
a wiring board having a plurality of lands corresponding to said lead of said flexible substrate and for supplying a control signal to said display panel, comprising the steps of;
disposing said anisotropic conductive film on said wiring board in accordance with position indicating marks provided on said wiring board to indicate a wiring position of said anisotropic conductive film;
disposing said leads of said flexible substrate on said lands of said wiring board;
irradiating a light of which axis is inclined at an angle smaller than 90°
relative to an axis line of said lead;
detecting relative positions of said leads and said lands and matching positions thereof; and
fixing said flexible substrate and said wiring board with said anisotropic conductive film.
