Abstract

The tire pressure sensor housing for a motor vehicle, provided to be mounted on a wheel rim comprises elastically deformable support wings (3, 4) of variable height and a device (8) for positional fixing and locking comprising snap-on tongues (8).

Claims

1. Tire pressure sensor housing for a motor vehicle, arranged to be mounted on a wheel rim (1), characterised in that it comprises support wings (3, 4) of variable height.

2. Housing according to claim 1, wherein the support wings (3, 4) are elastically deformable.

3. Pressure sensor housing according to one of claims 1 and 2, wherein means (8;

10, 18, 19, 31, 32) are provided for positional fixing and locking.

4. Pressure sensor housing according to claim 3, wherein the fixing and locking means are snap-on means (8;

10).

5. Pressure sensor housing according to claim 3, wherein the locking means (8) can be unlocked.

6. Pressure sensor housing according to claim 5, wherein the locking means comprise a movable clip (10).

7. Pressure sensor housing according to claim 6, wherein the movable clip (10) is mounted in a movable manner substantially orthogonal to the support wings (3, 4).

8. Pressure sensor housing according to one of claims 1 to 7, wherein a well (6) is provided to receive a fixing stud (21).
