Abstract
A web interface method (300) incorporating a system for communicating between devices (10 and a method for communicating between devices (200) wherein a user interacts with objects (306) in an abstract space (302). Results of the interaction are interpreted in an abstract language (18) and then translated to a universal language (20) such that input devices (12, 14) are independent of the specific type of device (12, 14) with which they might be interacting. Communication of the universal language (20) can optionally be over the Internet (22).
