Abstract

This unattendant data center environment protection, control and management system is able to provide means for monitoring temperature and humidity, managing power supply, and controlling access condition for a protected zone, and further, able to achieve the aim of remote control and management effect in any situation and from any distance by means of phone communication, interconnection to local network, or the internet web.

Claims

1. Unattendant data center environment protection, control, and management system able to provide means for monitoring temperature and humidity, managing power supply, and controlling access condition for a protected zone, and further, able to achieve the aim of remote control and management effect in any situation and from any distance by means of phone communication, interconnection to local network, or the internet web, comprising:

an ECM security subsystem having several detector for detecting necessary situation and data;

an ECM power switch subsystem connectable with said ECM security subsystem for controlling the power switch according to the detected result of said ECM security subsystem;

an ECM power sharing subsystem for accepting power supply and connected to said ECM power switch subsystem for supplying power to said ECM power switch system and other equipment; and

an ECM power UPS subsystem for supplying an emergency power to said ECM power sharing subsystem in outage of utility AC power supply.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein said ECM security subsystem further includes:

a smart slot incorporative with a web card, through said smart slot, said ECM security subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection to the TCP/IP Ethernet, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, humidity, temparature, and access condition can be programmed, controlled and managed by the web card through internet;

a link port from which said ECM security system can be linked to another subsystem through the 485 interface of the subsystem;

a phone port 12 incorporative with a phone card, through said phone port said ECM security subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection to the phone line, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, power, humidity, temperature, and access condition can be programmed, controlled, and managed by a phone through PSTN;

dynamic sensor ports, through them said ECM security subsystem can be connected with 8 dynamic sensors including humidity, temperature, vibration, gas and digital voice/video to detect the environmental conditions;

static sensor ports, through them said ECM security subsystem can be connected with 8 sensors including door, window, water, fire and thermal to detect the environmental conditions; and

communication ports, through them said ECM security subsystem can control 8 equipment/computers connected thereof to respond the corresponding sensor stature.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein said ECM power switch subsystem further includes:

a smart slot incorporative with the web card, through said smart slot said ECM power switch subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection to the TCP/IP Ethernet, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, power, humidity, temperature, and access condition can be programmed, controlled, and managed by a web card through internet;

a link port from there said ECM power switch subsystem can be linked to another subsystem through the 485 interface of the subsystem;

a phone port incorporative with a phone card, therethrough said ECM power switch system can be controlled and managed with the connection of a telephone, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, power, humidity, temperature, and access condition can be programmed, controlled and managed by the phone through PSTN;

power switch outlets through which said ECM power switch subsystem can control ON/OFF of the equipment connected to these outlets, the way of control is programmable into a schedule; and

communication ports through which said ECM power switch subsystem can control 8 equipment/computers connected therewith to respond the corresponding power switch outlet status.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein said ECM power sharing subsystem further includes:

a smart slot incorporative with the web card, through said smart slot said ECM power sharing subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection to the TCP/IP Ethernet, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, power, humidity, temperature, access condition can be programmed, controlled and managed by the web card through internet;

a link port from which said ECM power sharing subsystem can be linked to another system through the 485 interface of the system;

a phone port incorporative with the phone card, through said phone port said ECM power sharing subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection of a telephone, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, power, humidity, temperature, access condition can be programmed controlled and managed by a phone through PSTN;

power load outlets through which said ECM power sharding subsystem can control the load of equipment connected to these load outlets;

a AC source input power connection through which said ECM power sharing subsystem can control the load of equipment connected to these load outlets to one of the connected AC sources;

load communication ports, through them said ECM power sharing subsystem can control 8 equipment/computers connected to respond the corresponding load and AC power sources; and

AC source communication ports which have several input terminals for receiving power supply from utility source or UPS source, through these ports said ECM power sharing subsystem can synchronize the connected AC sources.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein said ECM power UPS subsystem -further includes:

a smart slot incorporative with the web card, through said smart slot said ECM power UPS subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection of the TCP/IP Ethernet, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, power, humidity, temperature, access condition can be programmed, controlled and managed by the web card through internet;

a link port from here said ECM power UPS subsystem can be linked to another subsystem through the 485 interface of the subsystem;

a phone port incorporative with the phone card, through said phone port said ECM power UPS subsystem can be controlled and managed with the connection to a telephone, all the status of environment including power switch, equipment power loads, humidity, temperature, access condition can be programmed, controlled, and managed by a phone through PSTN;

a power back up battery unit for supplying back up power through an inverter in outage of the normal power supply; and

UPS communication ports through them said ECM power UPS subsystem can control 8 equipment/computers connected to respond the corresponding UPS status.
