Abstract

A lavatory (1), in particular a toilet or urinal, with sensor-controlled flushing is proposed, which eliminates the need to exchange a battery, or at least ensures a considerably longer service life. This object is achieved by providing a solar cell (22, 23) to supply power.

Claims

1. Lavatory (1), in particular a toilet or urinal, with a sensor and electromagnetic valve for sensor-controlled flushing, characterized in that a solar cell is provided for electrical power supply.

2. Lavatory (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that a chargeable energy storage unit (14) is provided for the solar cell (13).

3. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a capacitor (14) is provided as the chargeable energy storage unit (14) for the solar cell (13).

4. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a battery (9) or an accumulator (9) is provided for additional, non-solar power supply.

5. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one solar cell (13) designed for artificial interior lighting is provided.

6. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least two solar cells (13) designed for varying light frequencies are provided.

7. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a bistable electromagnetic valve (6) is provided.

8. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sensor (11) and the solar cell (13) are integrated into a single structural unit (19, 25).

9. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the structural unit (19, 25) with integrated sensor (11) and integrated solar cell (13) is designed as a wall cover (19).

10. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the structural unit (19, 25) is designed as a separate housing (19, 25) spaced apart from the wall (24).

11. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sensor (11) and/or the solar cell (13) are integrated into the body of a closet bowl (2).

12. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the solar cell (13) is integrated into the wall (24).

13. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the solar cell (13) is designed as a brightness sensor.

14. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an interface with bus capability is present.

15. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the interface with bus capability is designed for wireless data transmission.

16. Lavatory (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the sensor (11) for the lavatory-flushing unit is simultaneously provided for wireless data transmission.
