Abstract
The improved anti-dandruff composition contains from preferably 0.03 to 20 percent by weight of a combination of three known anti-dandruff agents, namely climbazole, zinc pyrithione and piroctone olamine. Each of these anti-dandruff agents is preferably contained in an amount of from 0.01 to 10 percent by weight. The improved anti-dandruff agent is applied to a hair-covered body surface to eliminate or alleviate existing dandruff or to prevent or reduce occurrences of dandruff.

A method of eliminating or alleviating existing dandruff formation on a surface of a body of a person, said surface having hair growing thereon, said method comprising applying an effective amount of a combination of climbazole, zinc pyrithione and piroctone olamine for elimination or alleviation of said dandruff formation to said surface of said body and said hair growing thereon.
