Abstract

A decoy, for simulating a waterfowl rotating to a feeding position. The body (10) houses a motor and torque enhanced axle (11), remote control receiver and switches (12) and battery (13) for intermittently rotating an axle with outer end (15), located outside the body, slid onto a decoy mounting post (20) that is fixed to the stand(16). Rotation of the axle causes the decoy to rotate vertical and horizontal, as well as causes the water in which the decoy is deployed to splash. The remote control receiver combined with the remote control transmitter (22) permits operator selectable durations of vertical or horizontal positioning. The decoy also has a unique fitting (15) and (20) as well as the line (18) for attachment to the stand (16), which allows for quick assembly and disassembly.

Claims

1. A waterfowl decoy for positioning at the surface of a body of water, said body of water having an earthen bottom, said waterfowl decoy comprising:

a body and a stand with quick mounting connector and disconnector.

2. A waterfowl decoy for positioning at the surface of a body of water claim 1, said waterfowl comprising:

a rigid waterfowl-shaped decoy body having an interior cavity;

a motor, having a side output axle, said motor positioned within said interior cavity of said body;

an torque enhanced axle connected to said output of said motor, said axle having a longitudinal axis generally parallel to the surface of the body of water and having an outer end located outside said interior cavity of said body.

6. The waterfowl decoy as set forth in claim 2, further comprising:

a connector comprising a female sleeve connected to motor shaft, where in outer female sleeve attaches to male shaft attached to stand by which waterfowl decoy is mounted to stand.

A stand where by the axle is attached with the combination of both the male and female sleeves where by when said motor rotates said axle about its own axis, thereby causing said waterfowl decoy body to rotate forward to a vertical position or reversal to a horizontal position emulating a feeding process.

4. A remote control receiver and switches, connected to said motor and positioned within said interior cavity of said body, for controlling said motor to rotate said axle, thereby causing said body to rotate, said remote control receiver activated by the remote control transmitter having a first selector for selecting a forward rotation of said decoy body and a second selector for reversing rotation of said decoy body.

5. A waterfowl decoy for positioning at the surface of a body of water, said body of having a flexible line extending from decoy body to said stand.

7. A waterfowl decoy for positioning at the surface of a body of water, said body of water having earthen bottom, said waterfowl decoy comprising:

a waterfowl decoy with forward half including head to be submerged under water when vertical.

8. A waterfowl decoy for positioning at the surface of a body of water, said body of water having earthen bottom, said waterfowl decoy comprising:

a waterfowl decoy with front half cavity open at bottom to allow air pressure to release and allow front half of decoy to sink below the water when vertical, where back half of decoy maintains a sealed cavity to allow for housing of motor, power source and remote control receiver with switches and cavity that is accessible for battery insertion and removal.

9. A waterfowl decoy for positioning at the surface of a body of water, said body of water having earthen bottom, said waterfowl decoy comprising:

a waterfowl decoy with a flexible line connected to the front bottom of decoy running to the stand for the purpose of stopping the decoy in a position horizontal to the water when tight.
