Abstract

A computer mouse system and method of using is presented whereby the computer mouse system is used in conjunction with laptop or notebook computers or with external or auxiliary mouse, and with external or auxiliary computer keyboards. Each embodiment having touch pads, glide points, touch screens, or touch panels, integrated into the touch pads, glide points, touch panels, or touch screens by building, molding, manufacturing. The touch pads, glide points, touch screens, or touch panels, can also be placed at alternative locations on any of the mouse systems.

Claims

1. A portable computer mouse system comprising at least one mouse button and having at least one touch pad, said at least one touch pad having a periphery, wherein said at least one touch pad is integrated into an opening formed in said at least one mouse button, such that the periphery of said at least one touch pad is surrounded by walls of said opening.

2. The portable computer mouse system of claim 1, wherein said at least one mouse button is a press button.

3. The portable computer mouse system of claim 1, wherein said at least one mouse button is a press and lock button.

4. The portable computer mouse system of claim 1, wherein said at least one mouse button is a sliding panel button.

5. The portable mouse system of claim 1, wherein said mouse button has at least one finger pressing device formed thereon.

6. An external computer mouse, wherein said external computer mouse comprises at least one mouse button, and at least one touch pad.

7. The external computer mouse of claim 6, wherein said at least one mouse button is a press button.

8. The external computer mouse of claim 6, wherein said at least one mouse button is a press and lock button.

9. The external computer mouse of claim 6, wherein said at least one mouse button is a sliding panel button.

10. The external computer mouse of claim 6, wherein said at least one touch pad is integrated into an opening formed in said at least one mouse button.

11. The external computer mouse of claim 6, wherein said at least one touch pad is integrated into an opening formed in a sidewall of said external computer mouse system.

12. The external computer mouse of claim 6, wherein said external computer mouse comprises a housing that is separate from a central processing unit housing and separate from a keyboard housing.

14. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said at least one mouse button is a press button.

15. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said at least one mouse button is a press and lock button.

16. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said at least one mouse button is a sliding panel button.

17. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said at least one touch pad is integrated into an opening formed in said at least one mouse button.

18. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said at least one touch pad is integrated into an opening formed in a sidewall of said keyboard.

19. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said at least one mouse button is integrated into an opening formed in a sidewall of said keyboard.

20. The external computer keyboard mouse system of claim 13, wherein said mouse button has at least one finger pressing device formed thereon.

13. An external computer keyboard mouse system, wherein said external computer keyboard mouse system comprises an external computer keyboard, at least one mouse button, and at least one touch pad.
