1. A curable composition comprising a reactive silicon group-containing oxyalkylene polymer (A1) having at least one group of the formula 1 at its molecular terminal and satisfying the following (a) to (c), and a curing accelerator:

, R1 is a C1-10 monovalent hydrocarbon group, X is a hydroxyl group or a hydrolysable group, and a is 1, 2 or 3, provided that when a plurality of R1 are present, they may be the same or different from one another, and when a plurality of X are present, they may be the same or different from one another;
(a) the molecular weight per terminal group (Mc) is at least 5,000, (b) the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) is at least 1.5, and (c) the main chain is an oxyalkylene polymer which is obtainable by ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether using an active hydrogen atom-containing compound as an initiator and which is composed solely of structures based on the initiator and the cyclic ether.

(a) the molecular weight per terminal group (Mc) is at least 5,000,
(b) the ratio (Mw/Mn) of the weight average molecular weight (Mw) to the number average molecular weight (Mn) is at least 1.5, and
(c) the main chain is an oxyalkylene polymer which is obtainable by ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether using an active hydrogen atom-containing compound as an initiator and which is composed solely of structures based on the initiator and the cyclic ether.

The curable composition according to claim 5, wherein the oxyalkylene polymer (C1) is one of, or a mixture of two or more of, polymers which are obtainable by converting terminal hydroxyl groups of hydroxyl group terminal oxyalkylene polymers obtainable by ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ether using an active hydrogen atom-containing compound as an initiator, in the presence of a catalyst, to groups of the formula 2.

7. The curable composition according to claim 6, wherein the catalyst is a double metal cyanide complex catalyst.
