Abstract
The bell mouth has a first member composed of a cylindrical-shaped body with a trumpet-shaped opening at its one end and including a projection-shaped spiral portion formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, a second member composed of a cylindrical-shaped body including a projection-shaped annular portion formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and a third member composed of a cylindrical-shaped body including a groove-shaped spiral portion formed on the inner peripheral surface at one axial end side thereof and a projection-shaped annular portion formed on the inner peripheral surface at the other axial end side thereof. The spiral portions of the first member and the third member are spirally fitted with each other, and the annular portions of the third member are fitted with each other. Accordingly, it is possible to move the first and third members telescopically with respect to each other through their mutual spiral fit.
