1. A recording medium which stores a 3D image processing program for processing a 3D image, said program causes a video game apparatus to function as:
- background image generating means for rendering a first 3D model representing a landscape to generate a background image, image generating means for generating a second 3D model to be located between a camera viewpoint and the first 3D model, image adhering means for selecting a specified range of the background image and adhering the background image within a selected range as a texture to the second 3D model, and combined image generating means for rendering the second 3D model having the background image within the specified range adhered thereto and combining the rendered model with the background image to generate a combined image.
