Abstract

The invention concerns a cabinet hinge with a depth adjusting device for hinge arm held directly or indirectly on a cabinet-side, single- or multi-part mounting plate. A revolvable depth adjusting screw held in the mounting plate is provided in order to adjust the depth. A driver plate is connected with the hinge arm; whereby, the depth adjusting screw has adjusting elements that work together with corresponding adjusting surfaces on the driver plate in such a way that by turning the depth adjusting screw, the driver plate and the hinge arm are moved in relation to the mounting plate. The invention offers the advantage that with only turn, the depth adjusting screw can finely and delicately adjust the depth position of the hinge arm over its entire adjustment range.

Claims

1. Cabinet hinge with a depth adjusting device that connects directly or indirectly on a cabinet-side, single- or multi-part mounting plate (1;

2) holding a hinge arm (3), so in order to achieve depth adjustment, a revolvable depth adjusting screw (9) is held in a mounting plate (1;

2) is characterized by a driver plate (15) that is connected to the hinge arm (3), so that the depth adjusting plate (9) has adjusting elements (13;

14) that work together in such a manner with corresponding adjusting surfaces (21-26) on the driver plate (15), so that by turning the depth adjusting screw (9), the driver plate (15) and the hinge arm (3) are shifted in relation to the mounting plate (1;

2).

2. Cabinet hinge, according to claim 1, is characterized by the driver plate (15) that is formed in the cross-section somewhat u-shaped and has an upper and a lower driver shank (16;

17) that are connected together at a side edge.

3. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by the adjusting surfaces that are formed on the free side edge of the driver shank (16;

17) and always have a driver slot (21;

24) and adjoining merging rolling surface (22;

25) in a stop bay (23;

26);

whereby, the driver slot (21;

24) of a driver shank (16;

17) of a stop bay (26;

23) of another driver shank (17;

16) are located opposite each other and vice-versa.

4. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by the adjusting elements that are designed by two crank pins (13, 14), located at opposite sides of a concentric crank disk (12), that are placed about 180°

to each other and whose length-wise center axis (29, 30) run parallel to the length-wise center axis (28) of the crank disk (12), so that the length-wise center axes (28-30) are level.

5. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by the upper crank pin (13) of the adjusting surface of the upper driver shank (16) and the lower crank pin (14) of the adjusting surface of the lower driver shank (17) correspond;

whereby, always, only one crank pin (13;

14) engages in the corresponding driver slot (21;

24), while the other crank pin (14;

13) lies on the corresponding running surface (25;

22) or the stop bay (26;

23).

6. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by the crank disk (12) that is received in a bore hole (27) of the adjusting plate (2).

7. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by the driver plate (15) that is held movable on the adjusting plate (2);

whereby, the crank disk (12) and the adjusting plate'"'"'s (2) components are located in a gap (18) between the driver shanks (16;

17).

8. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by the upper driver shank (16) that has upward projecting brackets (19;

20) that engage in corresponding recesses (6;

7) of the hinge arm (3).

9. Cabinet hinge, according to one of the preceding Patent Claims, is characterized by a single turn of the depth adjusting screw (8) that corresponds to over 360°

of the maximum depth adjustment.
