Abstract

In a mobile communication network equipped with a wireless communication interface with a mobile communication terminal, when a need arises for disabling calling and card functions of a mobile communication terminal with a plurality of card information stored, there is provided a credit transaction system for permitting the process of disabling the calling and card functions of the mobile communication terminal, comprising a mobile station 100, a mobile telephone network 20, a mobile packet communication network 30, a CAT terminal 40a, 40b, . . . , the CAFIS network 50, acredit company'"'"'s server 60A, 60B, and the Internet 70. Credit disablement flags are set in a control station 33, and the mobile station 100 receives a disabling signal from the control station 33 through a base station 31. The mobile station 100 subsequently deletes credit contract information stored in itself.

Claims

1. A mobile communication terminal disabling method, comprising the steps of:

a control station within a mobile communication network, in response to a request for disabling any mobile communication terminal, storing in a memory disabling information corresponding to the mobile communication terminal;

when a call is initiated by a mobile communication terminal corresponding to the disabling information stored in the memory, transmitting from said control station disabling signal for suspending part or all functions of the mobile communication terminal; and

conducting a process for disabling the mobile commination terminal based on said disabling signal at said mobile communication terminal.

2. A mobile communication terminal disabling method according to claim 1, further comprising the steps of:

when a call is initiated by any mobile communication terminal, a base station receiving identification information for identifying the mobile communication terminal; and

transmitting said identification information to the control station.

3. A mobile communication terminal disabling method according to claim 1,

wherein said process for disabling the mobile communication terminal is suspending the use of one or plurality of card information items stored in said mobile communication terminal.

4. A mobile communication terminal disabling method according to claim 3,

wherein said one or plurality of card information items are information required for electronic-commerce transactions.

5. A mobile communication terminal disabling method according to claim 1,

wherein said process for disabling the mobile communication terminal is suspending the wireless communication function of said mobile communication terminal.

6. A mobile communication network comprising:

a control station having a memory for storing, in response to a request for disabling any mobile communication terminal, disabling information corresponding to said mobile communication terminal; and

for transmitting disabling signal, when there is a call from the mobile communication terminal corresponding to the disabling information stored in the memory, for suspending a part or all of functions of the mobile communication terminal; and

a base station for wirelessly transmitting to said mobile communication terminal said disabling signal transmitted by said control station.

7. A mobile communication network according to claim 6,

wherein said base station, when there is a call from any mobile commination terminal, receives identification information of the mobile communication terminal to be sent to said control station.

8. A mobile communication network according to claim 6,

wherein said base station, after said control station receives said disabling signal, transmits said disabling signal at all times or regularly.

9. A mobile communication terminal served in a mobile communication network and performing wireless communications with a base station in the network, comprising:

a memory for storing one or plurality of card information items; and

disabling means for prohibiting, in response to a reception of a disabling signal transmitted from said base station, use of said card information items stored in said memory.

10. A mobile communication terminal according to claim 9,

wherein said disabling means deletes said card information items stored in said memory.

11. A mobile communication terminal according to claim 9,

wherein said disabling means inhibits said card information items stored in said memory from being accessed from outside.

12. A mobile communication terminal according to claim 9,

wherein said disabling means suspends a wireless communication function of the mobile communication terminal.

13. A mobile communication terminal according to claim 9,

wherein said card information items are information required for electronic-commerce transactions.

14. A mobile communication terminal according to claim 13,

wherein said information required for electronic-commerce transactions are credit card information.

15. A mobile communication terminal according to claim 9,

wherein said mobile communication terminal is a mobile telephone for performing telephone communications wirelessly.
