Abstract
A method of transmitting packet data in a CDM and TDM mobile data communication system is provided. The method comprises determining priorities of one or more control channels, transmitting control information related to one or more packet data sets to one or more mobile stations through corresponding control channels according to the priorities; and transmitting the one or more packet data sets to each mobile station through one or more data channels that correspond to the one or more control channels, respectively. And, a frame duration of the higher priority data control channel restricts a frame duration of the lower priority data control channel.
