Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer system and to a method for encoding of information into a representation comprising a plurality of segments, the order of the segments in the representation being irrelevant for a rendering of the representation, the method comprising the steps of:

identification of the segments,

permutation of the segments to encode the information.

Claims

1. A method for encoding of information into a representation comprising a plurality of segments, the order of the segments in the representation being irrelevant for a rendering of the representation, the method comprising the steps of:

identification of the segments,

permutation of the segments to encode the information.

2. The method of claim 1 whereby the information comprises data for identification of the representation such as a serial number.

3. The method of claims 1 or 2 the information comprising data indicative of an author, company name or origin of the representation.

5. The method of anyone of the proceeding claims 1 to 4 the representation having a format of anyone of the formats contained in the group of:

Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI), Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML), a vector graphics format, Post Script, Dynamic Link Library (DLL) format.

6. A computer program product comprising means for carrying out a method in accordance with anyone of the proceedings claims 1 to 5 when the computer program is carried out on a computer.

7. A computer system comprising means for performing a method in accordance with anyone of the preceding claims 1 to 5.
