Abstract

A My Page management server is a server that provides a personal world wide web (WWW) page named My Page for a user who has been registered as a member. The My Page management server includes a product registration unit that acquires information of a product which the user purchased, a link generation unit that generates, on the My Page, a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire about the product which the user purchased, based on the acquired information of the product, and a product questionnaire management unit that presents the linked product questionnaire to the user upon receiving a request for the product questionnaire from the user.

Claims

1. A product information management device that provides a personal world wide web (WWW) page for a user who has been registered as a member, said product information management device comprising:

a product information acquisition unit operable to acquire information of a product which the user purchased;

a link generation unit operable to generate, on the personal WWW page for the user, a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire about the product which the user purchased, based on the acquired information of the product; and

a questionnaire presentation unit operable to present the product questionnaire to the user upon receiving a request for the product questionnaire from the user.

2. The product information management device according to claim 1,

wherein said product information acquisition unit acquires the information of the product based on product registration by the user.

3. The product information management device according to claim 2,

wherein said questionnaire presentation unit, upon receiving the request for the product questionnaire, generates the product questionnaire dynamically and generates the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire.

4. The product information management device according to claim 3, further comprising:

an answer acquisition unit operable to acquire an answer to the product questionnaire from the user; and

a link clearing unit operable to clear the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire when the answer to the product questionnaire is acquired.

5. The product information management device according to claim 4 further comprising an editing unit operable to accept an entry for editing the personal WWW page by an operator,

wherein said editing unit generates a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire on the personal WWW page for the user based on the user monitoring a product for trial use.

6. The product information management device according to claim 4, further comprising:

an editing unit operable to accept an entry for editing the personal WWW page by an operator; and

a purchase notice acquisition unit operable to acquire a notice of the purchase of the product from a store which sells the product,

wherein said editing unit generates the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire on the personal WWW page for the user based on the notice of the purchase of the product.

7. The product information management device according to claim 6,

wherein said link clearing unit further clears the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire when a predetermined effective period of the product questionnaire ends.

8. The product information management device according to claim 5,

wherein said link clearing unit further clears the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire when a predetermined effective period of the product questionnaire ends.

9. The product information management device according to claim 4,

wherein said link clearing unit further clears the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire when a predetermined effective period of the product questionnaire ends.

10. The product information management device according to claim 3, further comprising an editing unit operable to accept an entry for editing the personal WWW page by an operator,

wherein said editing unit generates a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire on the personal WWW page for the user based on the user monitoring a product for trial use.

11. The product information management device according to claim 2, further comprising:

an answer acquisition unit operable to acquire an answer to the product questionnaire from the user; and

a link clearing unit operable to clear the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire from the personal WWW page when the answer to the product questionnaire is acquired.

12. The product information management device according to claim 2 further comprising an editing unit operable to accept an entry for editing the personal WWW page by an operator,

wherein said editing unit generates a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire on the personal WWW page for the user based on the user monitoring a product for trial use.

13. The product information management device according to claim 1,

wherein said questionnaire presentation unit, upon receiving the request for the product questionnaire, generates the product questionnaire dynamically and generates the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire.

14. The product information management device according to claim 1, further comprising:

an answer acquisition unit operable to acquire an answer to the product questionnaire from the user; and

a link clearing unit operable to clear the link indicator which is linked to the product questionnaire from the personal WWW page when the answer to the product questionnaire is acquired.

15. The product information management device according to claim 1, further comprising an editing unit operable to accept an entry for editing the personal WWW page by an operator,

wherein said editing unit generates a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire on the personal WWW page for the user based on the user monitoring a product for trial use.

16. A product information management method for providing a personal world wide web (WWW) page for a user who has been registered as a member, said product information management method comprising:

acquiring information of a product which the user purchased;

generating, on the personal WWW page for the user, a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire about the product which the user purchased; and

presenting the product questionnaire to the user upon receiving a request for the product questionnaire from the user.

17. A product information management program causing a computer to execute a product information management method for providing a personal world wide web (WWW) page for a user who has been registered as a member, said product information management program comprising:

acquiring information of a product which the user purchased;

generating on the personal WWW page for the user, a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire about the product which the user purchased; and

presenting the product questionnaire to the user upon receiving a request for the product questionnaire from the user.

18. A computer readable recording medium on which a product information management program is recorded,

wherein the product information management program causes the computer to execute a product information management method for providing a personal world wide web (WWW) page for a user who has been registered as a member, and

the product information management method comprises:

acquiring information of a product which the user purchased;

generating on the personal WWW page of the user, a link indicator which is linked to a product questionnaire about the product which the user purchased; and

presenting the product questionnaire to the user upon receiving a request for the product questionnaire
