1. A method for navigation of television program listings within a user interface, the method comprising:
- successively displaying a first set of visual cards in a first area of the user interface, each visual card of the first set of visual cards representing a corresponding broadcast time slot associated with an episode of a plurality of episodes of a television program; and
enabling selection of a particular visual card of the first set of visual cards by a user in order to view the episode corresponding to the time slot represented by the selected visual card.
