Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic system comprising a plurality of electronic components (2) and a central control unit (1). The electronic components (2) and the central control unit (1) are connected to each other by means of a bus structure (4). The central control unit comprises a memory (12). The electric and functional parameters of each electronic component (2) are stored in said memory. Functions can be selected by means of the central control unit (1) and according to the electric and functional parameters of all the electronic components (2). Said selection can be displayed for the user by means of a central graphic interface. The electronic components are exclusively controlled by means of the central control unit (1).

Claims

1. An electronic system, comprising a plurality of electronic components (2) and a central control unit (1), the electronic components (2) and the central control unit (1) being interconnected by a bus configuration (4), the central control unit (1) including a memory device (12) in which the electronic and functional parameters of each electronic component (2) are stored, a functional selection displayable to the user via a central graphics interface being able to be generated by the central control unit (1) as a function of the electrical and functional parameters of all the electronic components (2), and the electronic components (2) being exclusively controlled by the central control unit (1).

2. The electronic system as recited in claim 1,

wherein the central control unit (1) takes the form of a PC.

3. The electronic system as recited in claim 1 or 2,

wherein the central control unit (1) and/or the electronic components (2) are provided with an initialization program, by means of which the electrical and functional parameters of the electronic components (2) prior to start-up may be retrieved by the central control unit (1) or transmitted to the central control unit (1).

4. The electronic system as recited in one of the preceding claims,

wherein the bus configuration (4) takes the form of a MOST bus.

5. The electronic system as recited in one of the preceding claims,

wherein the bus configuration (4) is connected to gateways (15, 16) for communicating with other networks and/or bus configurations.

6. The electronic system as recited in one of the preceding claims,

wherein the electronic system takes the form of an electronic infotainment system in a motor vehicle.
