A golf club head comprising a face member forming at least a part of the club face for hitting a ball, and a main body to which the face member is attached to form a junction in which a joint surface of the face member and a joint surface of the main body come into contact with each other, and at least one of the joint surface of the face member and the joint surface of the main body is machined using a machine tool.
