an administration interface, the administration interface designed to display a third medication unit of measure, the third medication unit of measure being a unit of measure commonly used by clinicians during administration of the medication to a patient at a treatment location within the system;

The system and method coordinate the use of the plurality of medication units of measure throughout the patient care system. The system may be implemented as a computer program including logic for: displaying a plurality of medication units of measure that are commonly used by subsystems of the patient care system and logic for equating the plurality of medication units of measure.
