1. A method for processing data comprising the steps of:
- providing at a responder a registry comprising information corresponding to a servicer;
receiving data related to a requested task at the responder;
using the registry to determine whether the data can be more efficiently processed at the responder or at the servicer; and
transmitting the data to the servicer if the data can be more efficiently processed at the servicer.

Abstract
Systems and methods for processing of data using registry schemes. In this regard, one such system includes a registry at a first device that is called a responder. This registry contains information corresponding to at least one other device that is called a servicer, which is communicatively coupled to the responder. Upon receiving data related to a requested task, the responder uses the registry to determine whether the data can be more efficiently processed at the responder or at the servicer, and transmits the data to the servicer if the data can be more efficiently processed at the servicer. Other systems and methods, also are provided.

14. A system for processing data comprising:
-
a responder having a registry of information corresponding to a servicer, the responder being configured to;
receive data related to a requested task at the responder;
use the registry to determine whether the data can be more efficiently processed at the responder or at the servicer; and
transmit the data to the servicer if the data can be more efficiently processed at the servicer. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21)

22. A job execution program stored on a computer-readable medium, the program comprising:
-
logic configured to provide a registry of information corresponding to a servicer;
logic configured to receive data related to a requested task;
logic configured to use the registry to determine whether the data can be more efficiently processed at a responder or at a servicer; and
logic configured to transmit the data to the servicer if the data can be more efficiently processed at the servicer. - View Dependent Claims (23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28)
