1. A vehicle dispatching system comprising a control center which based on customer requesting services controls dispatching communication to at least one vehicle which equipped with a car phone, wherein:
- the control center includes at least a control computer and a data transmission device, the control computer having software resided therein to perform mission information coding and display information, current mission schedules, and performing status of dispatched vehicles, the data transmission device being allowed to couple with an existing broadcast system including GSM handsets and paging services established by telecommunication companies;
the car phone includes;
a broadcast receiver for receiving broadcast information from the control center;
a data communication device for transmitting and receiving data and information;
a GPS receiver for receiving positioning signals emitting from positioning satellites stationed on earth obits; and
a distance (time) counter for calculating relative distance between vehicle location and a mission location.

Abstract
A vehicle dispatching system for controlling dispatching communications between vehicles and a control center mainly includes a control center and at least one vehicle. Every vehicle has equipped with a car phone. The control center includes a control computer and a data transmission device. The car phone consists of a broadcast receiver, a data transceiver, a GPS receiver, and a distance counter. By means of the system of the invention, the available vehicle nearest customers may be dispatched to meet customer service requirements at minimum communication costs.
