1. A method of filtering seismic signals in a seismic survey system, the method comprising:
- a) receiving an acoustic wave using a detector;
b) transmitting from the detector a first signal and a second signal, the first signal and the second signal being indicative of directional components of the received acoustic wave; and
c) applying an adaptive filter algorithm to the first signal, the adaptive filter including a feedback signal indicative of a selected portion of the first signal combined with the second signal.
