1. A method of managing the operation of a computer system in a network system which includes a plurality of management object computers, said method comprising the steps of:

  • supervising, by a supervisory manager computer, a work dividedly executed by a plurality of said management object computers by using event information collected according to identification (ID) information regarding said work, said event information representing various events occurring during execution of a divided work in each of said management object computers;

    managing said event information by adding said ID information for discriminating said work from which said divided work was divided;

    storing event information in a database supervised by each management objective computer;

    selecting specific event information from said event information stored in said database supervised by said each management objective computer according to contents of said event information;

    storing said selected event information in a database supervised by said supervisory manager computer; and

    displaying said selected event information on a screen of said supervisory manager computer to permit an operator of said supervisory manager computer to manage execution of said application, wherein said managing of event and ID information eliminates a need for examining in advance said computers executing said work.
