Abstract

The invention concerns a method and a device for adjusting a torque output of a power train of a motor vehicle, wherein a driving machine is operably connectable to a driving end of a belt-type transmission and a driving end of the belt-type transmission is operably connected to drivable wheels or the like of the motor vehicle.

It is provided that open-loop torque control for the power train (10) takes place via the adjustment, in dependence on specifiable operating states of the power train (10), of a mechanical tension acting on a wraparound means (26) of the belt-type transmission (20).

Claims

1. A method for adjusting a torque output of a power train of a motor vehicle, wherein a driving machine is operably connectable to a driving end of a belt-type transmission and a driving end of said belt-type transmission is operably connected to drivable wheels or the like of said motor vehicle, characterized in that open-loop torque control for said power train (10) takes place via the adjustment, in dependence on specifiable operating states of said power train (10), of a mechanical tension acting on a wraparound means (26) of said belt-type transmission (20).

2. The method as recited in claim 1, characterized in that a deliberate power loss for said power train (10) is brought about by means of said belt-type transmission (20).

3. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that said open-loop control of the power loss of said belt-type transmission is coordinated with open-loop torque-influencing control of said internal combustion engine (12).

4. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that closed-loop anti-bucking control takes place.

5. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that closed-loop load impact attenuation control takes place.

6. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that closed-loop idle control takes place.

7. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that closed-loop traction control takes place.

8. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that limitation of rotation speed takes place.

9. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that synchronization of rotation speed takes place.

10. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that closed-loop torque control takes place on cylinder cutoff.

11. The method as recited in one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that closed-loop torque control takes place on turn-on of an auxiliary unit.

A device for adjusting a torque output of a power train of a motor vehicle, wherein a driving machine is operably connectable to a driving end of a belt-type transmission and a driving end of said belt-type transmission is operably connected to drivable wheels or the like of said motor vehicle, characterized by means that can be used to adjust a power loss of said power train (10) by adjusting, in dependence on specifiable operating states of said power train (10), a mechanical tension acting on a wraparound means (26) of said belt-type transmission (20).
