Abstract
The present invention involves a system and method which allows a sponsoring organization access to a physician'"'"'s prescription process. The system electronically processes prescriptions via a personal digital assistant (PDA). First, the physician is provided with a PDA for generating prescription. The PDA transmits the prescription data over a network. A sponsor finances the PDA use and has the ability to direct messages to the physician on the PDA.
