1. A method for creating user navigable graphical documentation for use in a healthcare information system, comprising the activities of:
- creating documentation by supporting a user in, importing a graphical image element from a repository;
decomposing said graphical image element into a plurality of segments;
establishing links between individual segments of said plurality of segments and an encompassing graphical image element to support navigation within said encompassing graphical image element responsive to a user navigation command and linking a graphical image element segment with an object comprising text associated with said graphical image element segment;
associating a name with said documentation; and
storing said created documentation in response to a user command.

Abstract
Certain exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a method for creating user navigable graphical documentation for use in a healthcare information system, comprising the activities of: creating documentation by supporting a user in: importing a graphical image element from a repository, decomposing said graphical image element into a plurality of segments, establishing links between individual segments of said plurality of segments and an encompassing graphical image element to support navigation within said encompassing graphical image element responsive to a user navigation command, and linking a graphical image element segment with an object comprising text associated with said graphical image element segment. The method can also comprise the activities of associating a name with said documentation, and storing said created documentation in response to a user command. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. initiating retrieval of user navigable graphical documentation derived by, importing a graphical image element from a repository, decomposing said graphical image element into a plurality of segments, establishing links between individual segments of said plurality of segments and an encompassing graphical image element to support navigation within said encompassing graphical image element responsive to a user navigation command and linking a graphical image element segment with an object comprising text associated with said graphical image element segment;
associating a name with said documentation;
updating said documentation to identify a patient condition; and
storing said updated documentation in a patient record in response to user command.

decomposing said first graphical anatomical image into a plurality of zones;

associating said first zone with a clinical name associated with an anatomical feature; and
