Abstract

The invention concerns an integrated circuit device including first and second memories, the two memories comprising files organized in respective tree structures. The invention is characterized in that one of the memories includes an indication of a path to at least one file in the tree structure of the other memory.

Claims

1. An integrated circuit device including first and second memories, the two memories comprising files organized in respective tree structures, wherein one of the memories includes an indication of a path to at least one file in the tree structure of the other memory.

2. A device according to claim 1, wherein the said memory also includes an indication of the path of an actual file.

3. A device according to claims 1 or 2, wherein the indication of a file path includes at least a file identifier.

4. A device according to claim 3, wherein the indication of a file path comprises the identifiers of the files to be selected first to reach a particular file and the identifier of the file to be reached.

5. A device according to claims 3 or 4, wherein the indication of a file path comprises the identifier of the file to be reached.
