b) receiving interaction data indicative of user interaction with the intelligent companion computer;
c) generating program information to modify the interactive behavior of the intelligent companion computer, wherein the program information is generated as a function of the interaction data and the program information criteria; and
d) transferring the program information to the intelligent companion computer.

Abstract
A development system for providing computer-assisted development of a user includes a central computer and an intelligent companion (IC) computer. The IC computer operates with program content to provide dynamic interactive behavior towards the user. Interaction between the user and the IC computer may be captured by the IC computer as interaction data. Upon selective communication with the central computer, the interaction data may be transferred to the central computer for analysis. Based on the analysis, the central computer may generate program information. Program information may be transferred to the IC computer to customize the program content and enhance the development of the user. In addition, the central computer may provide developmental results in the form of reports, archived data and trends related to user performance for use by administrators of the user'"'"'s development.

d) transferring the user inputs and corresponding interactive behavior of the electronic toy to a central computer;
e) analyzing the inputs in conjunction with corresponding interactive behavior of the electronic toy with the central computer; and

a data transfer device selectively coupled with the electronic toy; and
a central computer in communication with the data transfer device, wherein the electronic toy is operable to store and subsequently transfer the interaction data to the central computer system via the data transfer device, the central computer system operable to analyze the interaction data and transfer modifications of the programmed interactive behavior of the electronic toy, wherein the modifications customize the interactive behavior of the electronic toy to enhance development of the user, the modifications transferred to the electronic toy via the data transfer device.
