9. An occlusion device implantation system, comprising:
-
an inflation catheter, having an elongate flexible body with a proximal end and a distal end;
a radially expandable implant releasably connected to the distal end of the body.

10. A method of implanting a device in the left atrial appendage, comprising the steps of:
-
providing an inflation catheter, having an elongate flexible body with a proximal end and a distal end, and a device removably carried by the distal end;
positioning at least a portion of the device in the left atrial appendage;
enlarging the device under positive force or pressure; and
anchoring the device in the left atrial appendage.

11. A method of implanting a device in the left atrial appendage, comprising the steps of:
-
providing an inflation catheter, having an elongate flexible body with a proximal end, a distal end, an inflatable balloon, and a device removably carried by the distal end;
positioning at least a portion of the device in the left atrial appendage;
enlarging the device by inflating the balloon under positive force or pressure; and
deflating the balloon, such that the implantable device is anchored in the left atrial appendage; and
removing the inflation catheter.
