1. In a multimedia system, a method for searching information in said multimedia system comprises the steps of:
- (a) in response to receiving a search inquiry, locating all files containing said search inquiry in any location in any database field;
(c) assigning a priority value to each file matching said search inquiry based on a location of said search inquiry in said database field;
(d) sorting each priority value in ascending order;
(e) for one or more matching files having substantially similar priority values, sorting each said one or more matching files alphabetically; and
(f) displaying at least one of a status of each matching file and a value of each matching file.

Abstract
A multimedia system and method that provides easy universal text searching for non-technical users, is disclosed. A configuration of the multimedia system and method of the present invention also facilitates content delivery through multiple, independent, simultaneous feeds from a single source to two or more different destinations without impairing audio and/or video and/or data stream quality.

1. In a multimedia system, a method for searching information in said multimedia system comprises the steps of:

(a) in response to receiving a search inquiry, locating all files containing said search inquiry in any location in any database field;
(c) assigning a priority value to each file matching said search inquiry based on a location of said search inquiry in said database field;
(d) sorting each priority value in ascending order;
(e) for one or more matching files having substantially similar priority values, sorting each said one or more matching files alphabetically; and
(f) displaying at least one of a status of each matching file and a value of each matching file.

2. In a multimedia system having a music server, a method for searching information in said multimedia system comprises the steps of:

(a) receiving a search inquiry in the form of a keyword text search;
(b) in response to said search inquiry, locating all titles of recordings that contain the keyword search in any location in any database field;
(c) assigning a priority value to each music title matching said search inquiry based on a location of the keyword text search in a title database field;
(d) sorting each priority value in ascending order;
(e) for one or more matching music titles having substantially similar priority values, sorting the matching music titles alphabetically; and
(f) displaying the sorted and alphabetized listing of matching music titles.

3. In a multimedia system, a method for searching information in said multimedia system comprises the steps of:

(a) receiving a search inquiry;
(b) in response to said search inquiry, locating all titles of information that contain each element of said search inquiry in any location in any database field;
(c) sorting each title based on a location within said database field where a match is found with each element of said search inquiry; and
(d) displaying a sorted listing of matching titles.

A configuration of a multimedia system, which has connectivity with one or more audio distributors, a construction of said configuration enabling said multimedia system, through a singular port, to transmit independently and simultaneously two or more streams of audio data to two or more different destinations.

A configuration of a multimedia system, which has connectivity with one or more video distributors, a construction of said configuration enabling said multimedia system, through a singular port, to transmit independently and simultaneously two or more streams of video data to two or more different destinations.

A configuration of a multimedia system, which has connectivity with one or more audio distributors and one or more video distributors, a construction of said configuration enabling said multimedia system, through a singular port, to independently transmit one or more streams each of video data and audio data simultaneously to two or more different destinations.

A configuration of a multimedia system, which has connectivity with one or more audio distributors and one or more video distributors, a construction of said configuration enabling said multimedia system, through a singular port, to transmit independently and simultaneously one or more streams of multimedia data each to two or more different destinations.
