Abstract

To enable for a user to easy recognize plural counter information notifications even when plural image input and output processes performed by using plural input and output paths are administrated by plural kinds of counter information, any of counters that a remaining number is necessary for a setting mode is selected by an administration apparatus from among plural counters (independently administrating plural kinds of number-of-image information representing the number of scanner-read images, the number of own-apparatus-output images, the number of externally received output images, and the like) administrated in regard to each ID, the selected counter is displayed on an operation unit, and it is controlled by a CPU to notify the user of impossibility of process continuation with alert when the counter reaches an upper limit value.

Claims

1. An image processing apparatus comprising:

read means for scanning an original and reading image data from the scanned original;

image formation means for forming an image on a recording medium based on the read image data;

communication means for transmitting and receiving image data through a predetermined communication medium;

storage means for storing the image data read by said read means or the image data received by said communication means;

user administration means for administrating a user by an ID (identification) capable of specifying the user;

first setting means for setting any of plural image processing modes;

control means for performing control to perform an image input process and an image output process according to the image processing mode set by said first setting means;

number administration means for classifying the image input process and the image output process performed by said control means into plural forms, and administrating, with respect to each ID, image amounts processed respectively in said plural forms as plural kinds of number information respectively;

second setting means for respectively setting upper limit values of said plural kinds of number information, with respect to each ID; and

display means for selecting any of said plural kinds of number information, and displaying said selected number information and information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on an operation unit.

An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said display means selects, from among said plural kinds of number information, the number information that the remaining number is necessary for said image processing mode, and displays said selected number information and the information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on the operation unit.

An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said display means selects, from among said plural kinds of number information, the number information that the remaining number is necessary for said image processing mode and that is closest to the upper limit value, and displays said selected number information and the information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on the operation unit.

An apparatus according to claim 2, wherein, in a case where there are the plural kinds of number information that the remaining number is necessary for said image processing mode, said display means displays the plural kinds of number information that the remaining number is necessary on the operation unit.

An apparatus according to claim 4, wherein, in a case where there are the plural kinds of number information that the remaining number is necessary for said image processing mode and the number of the information exceeds the number capable of being actually displayed on the operation unit, said display means displays the plural kinds of number information in order of closer to the upper limit value by the number capable of being displayed.

6. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said number administration means classifies the image input process and the image output process performed by said control means into the plural forms including distinction of a black-and-white mode and a color mode, and administrates, with respect to each ID, the image amounts processed respectively in said plural forms as the plural kinds of number information respectively.

An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein, in a case where an undecided image processing mode that it is not decided whether the image input process and the image output process are performed in the black-and-white mode or the color mode is set, said display means selects and displays, from the number information in the black-and-white mode and the number information in the color mode that the remaining number is necessary for said image processing mode, the number information close to the upper limit value.

An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein, in a case where an undecided image processing mode that it is not decided whether the image input process and the image output process are performed in the black-and-white mode or the color mode is set, said display means displays, at a time when the black-and-white mode or the color mode is decided, the number information according to the decided mode.

An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said display means selects the number information closest to the upper limit value from among the plural kinds of number information that do not reach the upper limit value, and displays said selected number information and the information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on the operation unit.

An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said number information and the information based on the upper limit value of said number information displayed on the operation unit by said display means include the number information, the upper limit value, and a value obtained by subtracting the number information from the upper limit value.

An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said plural kinds of number information include original number information concerning the number of originals read by said read means, output number information concerning the number of images output by said image formation means, output number information concerning the number of images output by said image formation means based on the image data received by said communication means through the predetermined communication medium, and image number information concerning the number of images transmitted by said communication means through the predetermined communication medium.

12. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said number administration means counts up the image number information transmitted by said communication means through the predetermined communication medium, according to a transmission data amount.

13. An apparatus according to claim 12, wherein said number administration means counts up the number of images transmitted by said communication means through the predetermined communication medium, equally to a value obtained by dividing an integrated value of the transmission data amounts by a predetermined image amount.

14. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising third setting means for setting the predetermined image data amount.

15. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising first notification means, in a case where, in a state that any of the number information has reached its upper limit value, the user intends to perform a process according to the image processing mode that the remaining number is necessary to said number information, for notifying the user that the process cannot be performed.

16. An apparatus according to claim 15, wherein, even in the state that any of the number information has reached its upper limit value, a process according to the image processing mode that the remaining number is unnecessary can be performed to said number information.

17. An apparatus according to claim 15, further comprising:

fourth setting means for setting a numeric value for the image processing mode set by said first setting means; and

second notification means for calculating a minimum value of the number of images which would be processed based on the image processing mode and the numeric value set by said fourth setting means, comparing the calculated minimum value with the number information specified according to the image processing mode, and, in a case where the number information exceeds the upper limit value if the process starts in the setting maintained as it is, notifying the user that the specified number information exceeds the upper limit value.

18. An apparatus according to claim 17, further comprising selection means, in a case where it is notified by said second notification means that the specified number information exceeds the upper limit value, for selecting whether to start the process in the setting maintained as it is or change the setting.

19. An apparatus according to claim 18, further comprising fifth setting means for setting said second notification means to be available or unavailable.

20. An administration information display method for an image processing apparatus which is composed of a read means for scanning an original and reading image data from the scanned original, an image formation means for forming an image on a recording medium based on the read image data, a communication means for transmitting and receiving image data through a predetermined communication medium, a storage means for storing the image data read by the read means or the image data received by the communication means, and a user administration means for administrating a user by an ID (identification) capable of specifying the user, said method comprising:

a first setting step of setting any of plural image processing modes;

an image processing step of performing control to perform an image input process and an image output process according to the image processing mode set in said first setting step;

an administration step of classifying the image input process and the image output process performed by said image processing step into plural forms, and administrating, with respect to each ID, image amounts processed respectively in said plural forms as plural kinds of number information respectively;

a second setting step of respectively setting upper limit values of said plural kinds of number information, with respect to each ID; and

a display step of selecting any of said plural kinds of number information, and displaying said selected number information and information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on an operation unit.

21. A program for executing an administration information display method for an image processing apparatus composed of a read means for scanning an original and reading image data from the scanned original, an image formation means for forming an image on a recording medium based on the read image data, a communication means for transmitting and receiving image data through a predetermined communication medium, a storage means for storing the image data read by the read means or the image data received by the communication means, and a user administration means for administrating a user by an ID (identification) capable of specifying the user, said method comprising:

a first setting step of setting any of plural image processing modes;

an image processing step of performing control to perform an image input process and an image output process according to the image processing mode set in said first setting step;

an administration step of classifying the image input process and the image output process performed by said image processing step into plural forms, and administrating, with respect to each ID, image amounts processed respectively in said plural forms as plural kinds of number information respectively;

a second setting step of respectively setting upper limit values of said plural kinds of number information, with respect to each ID; and

a display step of selecting any of said plural kinds of number information, and displaying said selected number information and information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on an operation unit.

22. A storage medium which computer-readably stores a program for executing an administration information display method for an image processing apparatus composed of a read means for scanning an original and reading image data from the scanned original, an image formation means for forming an image on a recording medium based on the read image data, a communication means for transmitting and receiving image data through a predetermined communication medium, a storage means for storing the image data read by the read means or the image data received by the communication means, and a user administration means for administrating a user by an ID (identification) capable of specifying the user, said method comprising:

a first setting step of setting any of plural image processing modes;

an image processing step of performing control to perform an image input process and an image output process according to the image processing mode set in said first setting step;

an administration step of classifying the image input process and the image output process performed by said image processing step into plural forms, and administrating, with respect to each ID, image amounts processed respectively in said plural forms as plural kinds of number information respectively;

a second setting step of respectively setting upper limit values of said plural kinds of number information, with respect to each ID; and

a display step of selecting any of said plural kinds of number information, and displaying said selected number information and information based on the upper limit value of said selected number information on an operation unit.

23. A control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary and a first output process is necessary in said first image processing mode, and the scan process by the scanner unit is at least necessary and a second output process different from said first output process is necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of enabling to perform control based on at least any of plural kinds of administration information at least including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes, in a case where any of said plural image processing modes is executed,

wherein said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, in a case where said first image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed, and

wherein said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, even in a case where said second image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed.

24. A method according to claim 23, wherein

said control step enables to control permission and inhibition of the execution of the image processing mode based on at least any of said plural kinds of administration information,

said control step enables to determine permission and inhibition of the execution of said first image processing mode at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, in the case where said first image processing mode is executed, and

said control step enables to determine permission and inhibition of the execution of said second image processing mode at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, even in the case where said second image processing mode is executed 25. A method according to claim 24, wherein

said first image processing mode includes a box storage mode that the scan process is at least necessary and a process to store scan data in a storage unit of own apparatus is necessary as said first output process, and

said second image processing mode includes an external transmission mode that the scan process is at least necessary and a process to transmit the scan data to an external apparatus is necessary as said second output process.

26. A method according to claim 23, wherein

said first image processing mode includes a mode to transmit scanned document data outside in the form of an electronic mail, and

said second image processing mode includes a mode to transmit the scanned document data outside in the form of a facsimile.

27. A method according to claim 23, wherein

said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes includes information concerning the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes by the scan unit,

said control step enables to at least update the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes when said first image processing mode is executed, and

said control step enables to at least update the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes when said second image processing mode is executed.

28. A method according to claim 27, wherein

said control step administrates a limit value in regard to each of said plural kinds of administration information,

said control step inhibits from performing a process according to a user instruction in said first image processing mode, in a case where setting that the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes exceeds the limit value for the scan process is at least performed by a user in said first image processing mode, and

said control step inhibits from performing a process according to a user instruction in said second image processing mode, in a case where setting that the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes exceeds the limit value for the scan process is at least performed by the user in said second image processing mode.

29. A method according to claim 23, wherein said control step enables to administrate said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes independently in a color mode and in a monochrome mode, respectively.

30. A method according to claim 23, wherein

said plural image processing modes include a third image processing mode that the print process by the printer unit is at least necessary,

said third image processing mode includes at least any of a local copy mode that a job being scan-processed by the scanner unit of own apparatus is printed by a printer unit of the own apparatus, a box print mode that a job stored in a box within a hard disk of the own apparatus is printed by the printer unit of the own apparatus, and a reception print mode that a job transmitted from other scanner or an external apparatus is printed by the printer unit of the own apparatus,

said control step enables to perform the control based on at least any of said plural kinds of administration information at least including administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes, and

said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes in said plural kinds of administration information, in a case where said third image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed.

31. A method according to claim 30, wherein

said administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes includes information concerning the total amount of the number of times of the print processes by the printer unit, and

said control step enables to at least update the total amount of the number of times of the print processes when said third image processing mode is executed.

32. A method according to claim 31, wherein

said control step administrates a limit value in regard to each of said plural kinds of administration information, and

said control step inhibits from performing a process according to a user instruction in said third image processing mode, in a case where setting that the total amount of the number of times of the print processes exceeds the limit value for the print process is at least performed by a user in said third image processing mode.

33. A method according to claim 23, wherein

said plural image processing modes include an image processing mode that the scan process by the scanner unit is at least necessary and a print process by a printer unit is necessary,

said control step enables to perform control based on at least any of the plural kinds of administration information at least including administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes, said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes includes information concerning the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes by the scan unit,

said administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes includes information concerning the total amount of the number of times of the print processes by the printer unit, and

said control step enables to update both the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes by the scan unit and the total amount of the number of times of the print processes by the printer unit when said image processing mode is executed.

34. A method according to claim 33, wherein

said control step administrates a limit value in regard to each of said plural kinds of administration information,

said control step inhibits from performing a process according to a user instruction in said image processing mode, in a case where setting that the total amount of the number of times of the print processes exceeds the limit value for the print process is at least performed by a user in said image processing mode, and in a case where setting that the total amount of the number of times of the scan processes exceeds the limit value for the scan process is at least performed by the user in said image processing mode.

35. A method according to claim 23, wherein

said control step causes a display unit to perform first display for performing setting concerning any of said plural image processing modes, and

said control step causes the display unit to perform the first display and enables to cause the display unit to perform second display concerning any of said plural kinds of administration information.

36. A control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of causing a notify unit to notify administration information concerning a process necessary in any of said plural image processing modes,

wherein, in a case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode in a notification form different from a notification form (notification manner) of the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode.

37. A method according to claim 36, wherein

said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the print process in a first notification form (first notification manner), in a case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, and

said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the scan process in a second notification form (second notification manner) different from said first notification form, in the case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

38. A method according to claim 37, wherein

said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes in a number-of-image form represented by the number of images, in the case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, and

said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in a data amount form different from said number-of-image form, in the case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

39. A method according to claim 38, wherein

said control step causes a display unit of an operation unit to display the administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes in said number-of-image form, in the case where it causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, and

said control step causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said data amount form different from said number-of-image form, in the case where it causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

40. A method according to claim 39, wherein said control step controls to be able to perform, on the display unit of the operation unit, display by which the number of bytes of scan-processed original data can be discriminated by a user, in the case where it causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

41. A method according to claim 39, wherein the display unit includes at least either the display unit of the operation unit of the image processing apparatus or a display unit of an external apparatus.

42. A method according to claim 37, wherein

said control step controls to be able to perform, on a display unit of an operation unit, first display by which the number of print-processed pages can be clearly discriminated by a user, in the case where it causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, and

said control step controls to be able to perform, on the display unit of the operation unit, second display by which a data amount of scan-processed originals can be clearly discriminated by the user, in the case where it causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

43. A method according to claim 37, wherein

said control step causes a voice unit to voice-output the administration information concerning the number of times of the print processes in a number-of-image form represented by the number of images, in a case where it causes the voice unit to voice-output the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, and

said control step causes the voice unit to voice-output the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in a display form different from said number-of-image form, in a case where it causes the voice unit to voice-output the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

44. A method according to claim 37, wherein said control step controls to be able to select whether to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the scan process in said first notification form or said second notification form, in the case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

45. A method according to claim 37, wherein said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the scan process in said second notification form (second notification manner) different from said first notification form and discriminatively in color or monochrome, in the case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

46. A method according to claim 36, wherein

said first image processing mode includes a mode to cause the printer unit of the image processing apparatus to print original data, and

said second image processing mode includes a mode to transmit the original data scanned by the scanner unit of the image processing apparatus to an external apparatus.

47. A method according to claim 46, wherein

said first image processing mode at least includes any of plural print modes including a local copy mode, a reception print mode and a box output print mode, and

said second image processing mode includes a mode to perform a transmission process including a process to transmit data to a host computer and not depending on whether or not the scan data is printed at a transmission destination.

48. A method according to claim 42, wherein said control step controls to be able to cause the display unit to perform the second display by which the data amount of the scan-processed originals can be clearly discriminated by the user and display for setting a process condition of said second image processing mode, in the case where it causes the display unit to display the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes.

49. A control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of causing a notify unit to notify at least any of plural kinds of administration information including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes by the scanner unit,

wherein said control step enables to change a mode between a first mode to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes discriminatively in color and monochrome and a mode to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in a state that the information of color and the information of monochrome have been compiled.

50. A system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary and a first output process is necessary in said first image processing mode, and the scan process by said scanner unit is at least necessary and a second output process different from said first output process is necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said system comprising:

a controller adapted to enable to perform control based on at least any of plural kinds of administration information at least including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes, in a case where any of said plural image processing modes is executed,

wherein said controller enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, in a case where said first image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed, and

wherein said controller enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, even in a case where said second image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed.

51. A system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said system comprising:

a controller adapted to cause a notify unit to notify administration information concerning a process necessary in any of said plural image processing modes,

wherein, in a case where it causes said notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, said controller causes said notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode in a notification form different from a notification form (notification manner) of the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode.

52. A system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said system comprising:

a controller adapted to cause a notify unit to notify at least any of plural kinds of administration information including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes by said scanner unit,

wherein said controller enables to change a mode between a first mode to cause said notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes discriminatively in color and monochrome and a mode to cause said notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in a state that the information of color and the information of monochrome have been compiled.

53. A storage medium which stores a program to execute a control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary and a first output process is necessary in said first image processing mode, and the scan process by the scanner unit is at least necessary and a second output process different from said first output process is necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of enabling to perform control based on at least any of plural kinds of administration information at least including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes, in a case where any of said plural image processing modes is executed,

wherein said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, in a case where said first image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed, and

wherein said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, even in a case where said second image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed.

54. A storage medium which stores a program to execute a control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of causing a notify unit to notify administration information concerning a process necessary in any of said plural image processing modes,

wherein, in a case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode in a notification form different from a notification form (notification manner) of the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode.

A storage medium which stores a program to execute a control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of causing a notify unit to notify at least any of plural kinds of administration information including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes by the scanner unit,

wherein said control step enables to change a mode between a first mode to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes discriminatively in color and monochrome and a mode to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in a state that the information of color and the information of monochrome have been compiled.

A program to execute a control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary and a first output process is necessary in said first image processing mode, and the scan process by the scanner unit is at least necessary and a second output process different from said first output process is necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of enabling to perform control based on at least any of plural kinds of administration information at least including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes, in a case where any of said plural image processing modes is executed,

wherein said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, in a case where said first image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed, and

wherein said control step enables to perform the control at least based on said administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in said plural kinds of administration information, even in a case where said second image processing mode in said plural image processing modes is executed.

A program to execute a control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of causing a notify unit to notify administration information concerning a process necessary in any of said plural image processing modes,

wherein, in a case where it causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode included in said plural image processing modes, said control step causes the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the process necessary in said second image processing mode in a notification form different from a notification form (notification manner) of the administration information concerning the process necessary in said first image processing mode.

A program to execute a control method for a system which at least includes an image processing apparatus having at least any of plural image processing modes including a first image processing mode and a second image processing mode, wherein a print process by a printer unit is at least necessary in said first image processing mode, and a scan process by a scanner unit is at least necessary in said second image processing mode different from said first image processing mode, said method comprising:

a control step of causing a notify unit to notify at least any of plural kinds of administration information including administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes by the scanner unit,

wherein said control step enables to change a mode between a first mode to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes discriminatively in color and monochrome and a mode to cause the notify unit to notify the administration information concerning the number of times of the scan processes in a state that the information of color and the information of monochrome have been compiled.
