an elongated loop binding defined by a plurality of consecutive, spaced apart loops having spaces therebetween, the binding having first and second ends, a binding axis centered in the loops and a binding diameter defined by a size of the loops in planes perpendicular to the binding axis;
an alignment element located at at least one of the first and second ends of the binding, the alignment element having a maximum dimension perpendicular to the binding axis which is greater than the binding diameter; and
